Complex Trauma Therapy in New York—EMDR and IFS
Available Online Statewide
In New York, there is enormous pressure to keep moving and to keep it together. Many people in New York experience themselves as competent, driven, and functional, but also exhausted and unhappy in a way that rest does not fix.
If you have been wondering whether what you experienced qualifies as trauma, or whether you're "too high-functioning" for therapy to help, the answer is: what you are carrying is real, and you deserve support that actually reaches it.
I am a licensed psychotherapist offering complex trauma therapy to adults throughout New York via secure telehealth. I specialize in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—approaches that work at the level of the nervous system and the deeper self, not just the thinking mind.
Who I work with
I work with adults navigating the long-term effects of childhood emotional neglect, relational trauma, chronic stress, and the kind of complex trauma that doesn't always have a single defining moment but shows up in every relationship, every high-stakes situation, every quiet moment when there is little to distract you.
What to expect
EMDR helps your brain complete the processing of experiences that got stuck so that old wounds stop interfering with your present life. IFS helps you understand the internal landscape that developed in response to pain, and build a different relationship with the parts of yourself you have been at war with, or wish to resist or avoid. This is deep, effective work, that can have positive, lasting results.
Sessions are fully online, available throughout New York — including New York City, Albany, Buffalo and beyond.
My fees are $285 a session for individuals/$325 for couples or pairs. I do offer a few sliding scale slots.
Let’s talk. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to determine if we may be a good fit—no pressure, just a conversation.
